This is your own whimsical & fun garden apartment (approx 450 sq feet) in a lodge which has two other adjoining, but separated, private apartments. Each unit, including yours, has its own private living space and amenities (your own kitchenette, loft, living room, bathroom, bedroom, etc.) with secure lock & key entry doors.
(RETREAT TYPE RENTAL/NOT FOR LOUD OR ROWDY PARTY GUESTS—rental is situated by other homes)
The space features its own private & secured:
-Living room area with gas stove fireplace, Small bedroom with FULL SIZED MATTRESS & TOPPER, European comforter/duvets, upper loft reading area w/ FULL-SIZED+ Pull-out Couch, unique custom wood desk, fully-functional kitchenette, remodeled private bathroom (with large claw-foot tub & shower, heated floors), located between living room and bedroom, small second story balcony & direct access to hot tub area.
Hair Dryer, All Linens, European Duvets, Blankets, Towels, Shampoos, Soaps & Toiletries.
40" Flat Screen 1080p HD TV, HD Cable & HBO Movie Channels, DVD Player, High-Fidelity Stereo, 100 MB High Speed Internet WiFi
Equipped with Toaster, Induction Burner, French Press, Mini-refrigerator w/ Freezer, Microwave Oven, Electric Hot Water Kettle, Cookware & Cooking Utensils, Blender, Dishes, Glasses, Silverware, & Stocked Coffee.
Hot Tub (note: tub adjacent to living room window, but has both interior and exterior blinds/privacy screens), Fenced Back Yard & Beautiful Garden, Outdoor Grill, Parking, Bike Storage Shed (lockable) includes bike pump & repair stand, Laundry/Washer & Dryer Area in garage (we supply detergent), outdoor walkways.
Please do not block or park in neighbor’s driveway above the garage (gray house) & directly across from 1936’s property (white house). Neighbors will have your vehicle towed. All parking is on the west side/front of lodge from 5th street proper starting from stowed snowmobile/trailers to “1936” & “Parking” signs on tree in front of main lodge. Park your vehicle perpendicular (straight in, facing lodge and chain link fence, not at an angle) so other guests have room to park) in the allotted area to allow other residence parking space. Maximum 2 vehicles.
7. Once parked, follow rock slate walkway around unique red roofed mailbox to Main Entrance located between lodge & garage (northwest corner of lodge) -- enter through wooden latched fenced gate "ENTRY."

If any of the characteristics mentioned below are an issue for you, please consider them before booking:
-We have polite signs & instructions posted in each unit. These reminders/signs are not intended to offend you, but due to a few prior guests who caused incidents. Without these signs, we would not be able to continue renting our home.
-The house's walls are not 100% soundproof. Please understand some muffled sounds do occur & occasionally from 4-legged friends. The bedroom area is near the walkway; if windows are open, you may hear people occasionally walking by. As an alternative, if you are concerned about complete privacy, there is also the upstairs loft/pullout couch area for sleeping.
-If you or anyone in your party have impairment with mobility, this rental might not be a good fit due to its atypical architecture (i.e. small walkways and various steps throughout).
-Unit is Heated & Air Conditioned by forced air programmed by NEST in winter due to shared aspects of home. There is also an adjustable cozy gas fireplace in living-room. We supply fans as well.
-Manager &/or owner oversees premises from detached garage office-apartment behind home, so you may occasionally see one of us out on the property. While being respectful of your privacy--we're friendly, happy to say hello and help with any questions.
SUMMARIZED HOUSE RULES: (2 GUESTS MAX)
-Rental not suited for loud, inconsiderate guests due to shared aspects, Bend's 10pm-8am noise ordinance (quiet/silent outdoor & hot tub usage during these hours) & surrounding homes.
-Please do not show up with more guests than indicated on your reservation (even if they aren't planning to sleep here) unannounced without our prior written permission/approval via Airbnb's messages or the agreement is subject to cancellation.
-NO PETS: AS OF 1/30/2020 WE NO LONGER ALLOW PETS DUE TO TOO MANY INCIDENTS AND DAMAGES FROM IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS. IF YOU SHOW UP WITH A PET, YOU ARE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE EVICTION. SEE HOUSE RULES.
-Toddlers/kids under 10 years of age: our rentals are not toddler recommended/childproof/soundproof due to shared aspects and no outlet covers, high-end furnishings, etc (i.e. if your baby is known to frequently cry loudly throughout the night/early morning or your child is hyper/uncontrollable = not a good fit.
- Some holidays require a three night stay minimum.

RENTALS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC - Reservations made after March 14, 2020 have been made with the knowledge that a global pandemic exists and is ongoing. Please notify us in writing (text or email) to cancel your reservation. Re-scheduled reservations are not eligible for a refund unless the original travel dates qualify. All bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund. All bookings canceled at least 15 nights before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the stay. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance for your stay.

At least a 50% payment is required to hold your dates. When your arrival is less than 30 days in the future, 100% payment is due when making the reservation. When your arrival is more than 30 days in the future, 50% payment will be collected to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance due will be collected 30 days prior to your check-in date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and echecks at our online payment portal.
