This historic tiny home is smack dab in the heart of downtown Bend! Just around the corner from groceries, the Box Factory, and everything downtown and Old Mill! This is a great walkable location for a urban stay in Bend and a perfect base for your Bend adventures. Welcome to Bend!
This home is in the Old Bend Historic register and is Craftsman style "Workingman’s Foursquare". There are only a handful of these Workingman Foursquare designed homes in Deschutes County. The first verified occupant of the home was an employee at Brooks Scanlon Lumber Company, where the Old Mill shopping district is now found. This is a classic Bend old mill cottage!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
This home is located on Colorado Avenue in downtown Bend. This amazing location means you are so close to everything Bend. Downtown, the Box Factory and the Old Mill literally start outside your front and back doors. Like all homes on Colorado and in urban Bend locations, this amazing spot has some traffic noise from Colorado Avenue. Traffic noise can be heard from both inside and outside the home. Traffic speeds are slow on this stretch of Colorado because there is a stop light a block or so away, but you will hear the passing of cars from inside and outside the home.
The pay-off for staying in this location is THE LOCATION! One block to groceries at Market of Choice, 1 block to the Podski food carts, 1 block to various coffee and breakfast spots. This is truly in the middle of it all. You can walk to the Old Mill and concerts at the Amphitheater. Downtown is an easy walk as well. Bringing your surf board? Walk or bike to the river wave in minutes.
HEATING & COOLING
This tiny home has a gas fireplace that really puts out heat. There is also a mini split heat pump with A/C to keep you comfortable year round! There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room as well.
SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS
This sweet 1 bedroom home features a king bed with ensuite bathroom. The king bed is medium firmness with high thread count sheets and European style duvet bedding. Perfect for 1-2 people. The ensuite bathroom is adjacent through a vintage craftsman door. The bathroom is clean and modern. You'll find a comfortable corner stall shower (no tub) stocked with earth friendly soaps and shampoos. Please request the Pack & Play crib and/or high chair, if you need them, when you reserve and we can deliver then to the home for you.
INDOOR LIVING/WORK SPACES
You'll enjoy cozy seating for 4 in the comfortable living room. There are 2 desks in the home if you need a work station, just take your pick. One desk is in the bedroom and the other in the living room. You are also welcome to work at the oversized kitchen table as it converts from bar style eating space to a full sized table. This tiny homes lives larger than it is.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Petite covered porch out front looks out over lively Colorado Avenue. You see people walking, biking and driving to nearby food carts, shops and just getting around town. There are a few fun shops across the streets (massage, wigs and chocolate to name a few businesses there currently!). The yard is currently nothing to write home about. Landscaping will happen as soon as the ground thaws and the snow passes this Spring!
In the backyard you'll find a concrete patio and we'll be adding the outdoor dining for 4 and a BBQ soon! The parking area is in the backyard as well.
PARKING
The parking for this home is accessed via the alley. There is a level parking area in the upper area, very close to the alley entrance. The upper gravel parking pad is level and spacious. The lower parking pad nearest the home is also gravel and gently sloped. There is plenty of parking! If you have a large van/RV there is space for it as long as you are comfortable parking on a gentle slope. Outside you'll find a private front yard gated with a BBQ and supplied propane. There a small patio table to enjoy your summer meals, and a locked storage shed to store your gear year-round!

Free wifi and TDS+ cable IS provided. Smart TV as well so you can stream your own subscriptions and favorite channels.
PET FRIENDLY
Little Milly is a pet friendly home. Please let us know your pet is coming and we'll provide pet sheets and other furry friend supplies. Please note that this is not a fully fenced property so pets will need to be leashed and supervised when outside to keep them safe and home. A pet fee applies to each reservation.

Please notify us in writing (text or email) to cancel your reservation. Re-scheduled reservations are not eligible for a refund unless the original travel dates qualify. All bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund. All bookings canceled at least 15 nights before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of the stay. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance for your stay.

At least a 50% payment is required to hold your dates. When your arrival is less than 30 days in the future, 100% payment is due when making the reservation. When your arrival is more than 30 days in the future, 50% payment will be collected to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance due will be collected 30 days prior to your check-in date.
