What a fantastic hidden gem! Very close to downtown Bend, Drake Park and Newport Market (a personal favorite of mine). We walked all over, rode the provided bikes downtown and took a couple soaks in the hot tub! The house is extremely clean and was absolutely perfect for our needs. We highly recommend!

This airbnb is conveniently located and has all the amenities. It was a little warm when we were there and there’s only an AC unit in one of the bedrooms but there are lots of fans that helped us stay cool. Would definitely recommend!

This bungalow exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. The location was right in the middle of town and we were able to enjoy getting around by the bikes that we brought. The condo was spacious and the king beds were a nice surprise. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We only stayed three days, but could have made a home there for much longer. Diana communicated effectively and left recommendations for places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The highlight of our stay was inner tubing down the Deschutes River, which was close by.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We found it so easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, a short walk to the river and Drake Park, and downtown Bend just over the river.

The unit was clean and well equipped, including a nice collection of spices. The backyard was perfect for our pup.

Only challenge we had was during an extended stay, the WiFi was not sufficient for work purposes (video calls, etc), it did just fine for regular tv / phone / tablet use.

Look forward to visiting this spot again soon.

The kitchen was well stocked to cook in and both rooms were a nice size - great space to share with another couple. The host was super responsive to take care of the one repair issue that came up during my stay, so no complaints there either. I’d definitely stay here again!

Diana’s place was exactly what my family needed. The location was great - a short 5 min drive to all the restaurants and shoots and a quick 25 min drive to Mt Bachelor! The amenities were exactly as listed and all functioned well, especially the hot tub! The floors upstairs seemed to be heated so was pleasant to walk around on. Most importantly, everything was super clean! Every corner of the place is spotless. Diana herself was very easy to reach and clear with her communication. She was very easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place!

Diana was super responsive and proactive with everything. The heated floors were lovely in downstairs. Drank coffee on the balcony off my room in the morning after the snow. Now there is a noise curfew and they are very serious about it. It was just my mom and I so that wasn’t too big an issue, but it would be an issue for two couples staying and wanting to have the hot tub and some drinks outside. They used the words “whisper quiet “ to describe how to be outside after curfew. If it’s a relaxing stay you are after, it’s perfect. They had a growler you could use for beer, it was spotless when we got there, and the beds were amazingly comfy. We felt if we had any issues Diana would of solved them right away, but the stay went off without a hitch!

Very nice, clean home, visually appealing inside and out. Nice artwork on the walls, good amount of furniture, with plenty of negative space, including plenty of floor space for our dog's bed in the downstairs living area and in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen, nice towels, good water pressure in shower, radiant floor heating was lovely, home was warm even as temps outside dipped below freezing. Very close to downtown and sprawling park along river (walkable, though some streets lack sidewalks in sections), with many good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Quiet, peaceful residential neighborhood. Nice hot tub - very comfortable for two adults. Host provided a sheet to put on couch so the dog could get on it - very thoughtful touch. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was nice, comfortable, clean, and it was lovely to bring our Boston Terrier with us. Fully equipped kitchen. Before we arrived we received a long and sternly worded message about the rules for not making the neighbors angry. I don't know if the folks before us had a raging New Year's party, but it was disappointing to be greeted that way and to feel like we were contributing to a neighborhood problem by renting a building that clearly was built to be an airbnb in a residential community. Between the long list of rules including "don't talk over the jets in the hot tub" and the lack of privacy with the next-door neighbors' windows looking directly over the fence and into the hot tub, we decided not to use the hot tub at all, which was why we originally chose this airbnb. There was construction across the street that started very early in the morning, which would've woken us up if we were hoping to sleep in.

This airbnb is in a great location close to the river and downtown Bend. The amenities are great and rooms are spacious. We loved having access to the bikes provided. One thing to note is that the airbnb is in a residential neighborhood with strict quiet hours so the hot tub cannot be used after 10pm. Something to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise a great place.

Wow wow wow! The locations is unbeatable in Bend. My dog and I walked everywhere, including the off-leash dog park up the hill. The home is comfortable and relaxing, especially the hot tub. I went mountain biking every day, driving no longer than 30 minutes to some of the best rides. I hope to stay at this home again in the future!

We loved our stay. You can walk to old downtown and Drake park easily and quickly. If you have toddlers there are stairs but they’re carpeted. Loved the hot tub and how cozy the house is. "Trails are so close!"

Had a wonderful stay! Hot tub was just what we needed after paddle boarding adventure on the river. Phils trail head is riding distance from the house so that was another great adventure! Loved that we could walk to town for dinner at sunset.

Nice house in great, close-in neighborhood. Casa Sol was clean, with nice towels and linens on comfortable bed, kitchen was well stocked, hot tub and wifi worked great. Checking in was easy, instructions on how to use hot tub, wifi, heat and tv were all very clear. Lots of suggestions for neighborhood eats and stuff to do
Nice places to hike with your dog nearby, including an off-leash park right up the hill. Lots of houses in the neighborhood have started putting up Christmas lights, so evening walks around the neighborhood were also enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

Communication from the owner was excellent throughout our stay.
If staying during summer months be aware there is no central air conditioning. Portable AC was provided for one upstairs bedroom and fans for the other.

The hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. When I asked if it was possible to check in early they took the time to explain the reasoning behind their answer which I appreciated. Great house for a family gathering with our sons. Very comfortable, lots of amenities. Good cookware, steak knives, plenty of dishes and glassware. King size beds. The hot tub was great after a big, strenuous hike. The relaxing patio was great for breakfast and dinner. Close to everything and the hosts’ restaurant recs were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

"Only Place Out of Five During Our Oregon Trip Which Had...."

Private yard with lovely hot tub, full kitchen, beautiful space and room to park two cars off street. We ran out of time to use the bikes or tubes but having the bikes to get into town is sweet; it's about seven blocks into downtown. There is a very nice 2nd floor patio alongside and off both bedrooms as well. Easy to find, felt like home and nice amenities. My friend's a tea drinker and this was our only place out of five during our Oregon trip which had the sugar she wanted, not artificial.

Casa Sol was a wonderful place to stay for our Bend vacation. There was enough space for us to store our 4 bikes, and there was plenty of room for us (and our two dogs) to relax. We really enjoy the outdoor spaces in the back and off the bedroom. Perfect areas to soak in the hot tub or enjoy the sunshine.

This was my first stay at an AirBnB and I was very pleased on the whole experience. The location was perfect, you can essentially get to anyplace downtown within a 20 minute walk. In 5 minutes you walking along the river at the park. Walking around is fairly easy in Bend while you have to cross two busy roads to get to the river, drivers in Bend without exception always stopped to let us cross, surprisingly nice. I was happy that all the traditional hotel type amenities were there like soap and shampoo in the bathroom and coffee in the kitchen including half and half creamer in the fridge. It was nice to have the option to text the host, they are very quick to reply. All in all, I would stay again.

Casa Sol was the perfect setup for us! 4 adults and one puppy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms for the dog crate. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need to cook, and with high quality kitchen tools, which is unusual for a rental! Close to everything, 3 minutes drive to main strip downtown, 12 minute walk. Lovely property. Will definitely stay here again!!

“Perfect location! Just a short walk to downtown and to many other delicious spots the opposite direction down Newport Ave. The neighborhood has lots of lovely homes and yards to look at while you stroll. The house is well stocked with everything you need including high quality natural soaps, extra sheets for protecting the furniture if you bring pets (and a lint roller and doggie poo bags!), and a fan in the closet in one of the bedrooms (we needed it for white noise purposes, so we were grateful it was there). Oh, and the hot tub was perfect for the chilly fall air.

It was a great, walkable location. The Casas were very clean with excellent linens. The thing to be aware of is Casa Sol does not currently have a/c, so be prepared if you are visiting during the warm season (they do provide fans and if you open the windows to get the cool air in the morning it is manageable). The 3 ring binders are very helpful for dining, activities, and shopping. Communication was awesome and check-in/check-out was a breeze! They were extra flexible as the numbers of our party changed a few times - including a dog and then not a dog - and it was absolutely smooth communication. We'll definitely be back to another A Stone's Throw property!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sol! It was very hot the few days we were there and the house didn't have A/C. The staff reached out after our first night to see how we were doing and asked if we needed anything. We asked for a few extra fans and they brought them right over! There is still construction across the street that starts promptly at 7AM, but we were up early and it didn't bother us. Location is close enough to Bend city center to walk if you wanted, but we really enjoyed using the bikes! Thanks for a fun time in Bend!

We were very impressed at all that was provided at Casa Sol. Cute, clean and comfortable. Fan in the closet for white noise at night, kitchen contained all that was needed for cooking, hot tub created great memories... bathroom and laundry areas fully stocked. Location was centrally located and was easy to get to places. Casa Sol even included things we forgot or couldn't fit (bikes, cooler, etc). Area was quiet, even with a military reunion next door! Next time, we'll stay longer than 3 days to enjoy more.
Only thing we wish we'd had? A baby gate but chairs worked to baracade the stairs. Overall? We were glad we stayed there versus Sunriver. Perfect for us and our family.

Perfect for our annual trip to Bend. We enjoy checking out new places to call "home" for a few days, and this was one of our favorites. Little touches, such as the growler available to bring home our favorite local brew, and the goats milk soaps, which I will purchase in the future for my own supply, in addition to nice big towels to use when exiting the hot tub. We wanted for nothing. This is high on our list of places to which we will return.

The home is super clean, very comfortable and the owners have thought of all the extras that make a stay truly enjoyable. For example, the beds and linens are super comfortable, the hot tub is a very nice one, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower has great pressure and lots of hot water, and the washer/dryer are high end. Bend is a great town and this place is an easy distance for cycling (thank you for the great bikes!) or a nice walk. The owners provided excellent communication and were so helpful.

"Upstairs Roof Deck"

Absolutely wonderful, cozy, home. Four of us stayed for 15 days and loved having a king bed in each bedroom just like at home. The hot tub was amazing and used almost every day. Loved the concrete counters which are indestructible , especially since one of us is cleaning and cooking challenged. Loved having the one bathroom on the first floor, even though small, but a great use of the space under the stairs. Would have loved to have AC, but the fans in the bedrooms worked well enough with opening the windows. The bicycles were a bonus and used most days, except one of us hit the curb, flew off, and is suffering a torn rotator cuff. Lots of storage and closet space and the upstairs roof deck was a great bonus, as was the washer and dryer. The only thing I would have liked was a recliner since my injury did not allow me to sleep in bed for several days. I will definitely try to rent again whenever I go to Bend to see my daughter/son-in-law/grandson. Will definitely refer it. Thanks so much !!!

"Soaps Provided Were All Natural"

This is a great little place right in the heart of Bend. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook and feel comfortable for our week's stay. We really appreciated that the soaps provided were all-natural. One note of consideration would be that the stairs leading to the bedrooms are quite steep for any toddlers or people with joint pain. Otherwise it's a very clean and simple design~with a hot tub! We had an easy visit, in large part because of our accommodations. Thank you!

Very clean. Very comfortable. Great location in quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown, walked to the downtown area and to the breweries, even Crux. Loved the setup of the unit, with bedrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath down, very nice private patio area. Extremely comfortable beds.

Casa del Sol was terrific. The location is ideal--we were within walking distance to downtown, the Newport Ave Market, and the food carts at The Lot. The house was relaxing and easy--comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, hot tub, and a great shower stocked with wonderful bath products. Having the option to grill and eat outside made us feel right at home. We stayed four nights and didn't want to leave! We will definitely stay there again.
