This home was everything and more than we expected. The inside was gorgeous and very well appointed. The outside was amazing, with the fire pit and the jacuzzi a highlight of our stay. The kids loved kayaking on the river, and our brave grandson even jumped in for a BRIEF dip! ? Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and we would 1,000% recommend your home.

Amazing place to stay!

Our family had a wonderful time in Bend. The home was beautiful and provided the perfect place for us to hang out. The furnishings were comfortable, the view beautiful. Although we didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities, we loved that the host provided cross country skis, bicycles, life jackets ...here was so much attention to details, everything that we needed was provided for.
We will be returning for another stay next time we are in the area.

Bend has been on my bucket list for 30 years and Diana’s property did not disappoint. Having a beautiful getaway place on a river is as good as it gets. The home was stocked with all of the necessities and the binder was loaded with lots of helpful information. I only had one question and she replied back quickly. I can’t wait to return here in the summer to take advantage of all there is to do including hiking, biking and kayaking. Her place was only a 5 minute walk to a great restaurant for Breakfast. And not much further to downtown. Thanks for a very clean place and here’s to future visits.

The place has amble room for 2 families.
The home was very clean and spacious.
The best part is the dock on the river. The home comes with stand up paddle boards, single and double kayaks, and inner tubes for floating dow the river.
My kids spend the entire time either on the dock or in the water.
We would absolutely stay here again.

If you want walkability in Bend this is your location. We parked our car and didn't move it all weekend. Walked downtown and all around. Great house 🙂

The house was perfect! Beautifully decorated and the architecture is amazing. I also own vacation rentals and we were very impressed with all the details they do to make guests feel good and at home. We visit Bend often and we are thrilled to have found this home. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was stellar and fit our family perfectly! It was wonderful being right on the river and having so many places to walk to!

On river with dock, kayak and SUP. Walk 2 blocks to 7-11 and bike rental and brewpub. Bigger than you think. Don’t stay anywhere else.

Interested in staying at a place that's a 10/10? This is the place for you! Perfect host in terms of responsiveness, clarity of instructions, supportive without being overly involved...The home itself is beyond compare--tidy, spacious, with multiple sitting areas and comfortable beds. Spacious, well-stocked kitchen, gorgeous laundry area, large and handsome bathrooms, gas fireplaces just where you want them. The locale on the River was lovely, with ducks aplenty and kayakers on warm days. Given our approach to winter, we chose not to use the outdoor seating areas or hot tub, but we can just imagine how much they'd add to the experience. We loved everything about this rental and thank our host for providing us this superb venue. Merci!

This place is amazing. Beautiful home right on the river and easy walk downtown or along the river front. The home has a great layout. Big kitchen and several comfortable places to relax by the multiple fireplaces. Quiet and comfortable bedrooms. We didn't travel with our kids this time, but they would definitely loved the upstairs play/tv room. Overall - one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at. Highly recommend.

Look no further. Location, bikes, paddle boards and canoes off your own dock, fire pit, hot tub and an amazing house with all the amenities. We had one question on Saturday and had an immediate response from the host.

A fantastic stay in Bend! Beautiful, well-equipped house, right on the river with a hot tub, bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks available to use. The house is an easy walk to good restaurants, brewpubs, coffee shops and a high-end grocery store, and just an easy mile walk to downtown Bend. Diana was quick to respond to communications, check in and check out were very easy and we would definitely stay here again!

Well accommodated home with everything you could need to take full advantage of your time in Bend. Walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. A short bike ride to old mill.

We had SUCH a lovely time with our family here. The house was lovely, the amenities were plentiful and the location was perfect. We plan on coming back - that speaks for itself!

This is an incredible place. Exceeded expectations. There is so much room and would be great for hosting a large family. So many little details that make this a great place to stay, from kayaks and paddle boards to Sonos speakers to games and puzzles to the hot tub.....and the location is awesome. Everything about it is easy! Highly recommend!!!

This house is amazing. You'd have a wonderful trip to Bend even if you never left the house. That said, it's also in the heart of the city and surrounded with great food and things to do.
My minor quibble is that there was only one coffee-pot's worth of coffee grounds. Oh, and the sliding doors were tricky to lock -even with the instructions posted to the doors. Neither of those things would prevent me from recommending this to anyone looking for a really beautiful place to stay with room for friends and family. I certainly plan on returning some time in the future.

As long-term Bend resident, we know a good location and a good house when we see one. We were pleasantly surprised to find this house not booked at the last minute and did a nice 3-day staycation.

The house has tons of windows, it’s very comfortable, the river access and view is amazing, the hot tub was lovely, the kitchen is functional and easy to use, and the beds and linens are super comfortable.

Overall a great stay and we will be back!!

If you are staying in Bend, OR, this is the place! The photos honestly don't even do it justice. The location was unbeatably convenient, and the home itself was one of the nicest Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. The hot tub was already hot when we arrived, the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, and the whole place was spotless. Whenever I come back to Bend, I will absolutely be staying here!

Beautiful and comfortable home in the most perfect location. This was our second time staying here and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else, although all of our Stone’s Throw rental experiences have been great!

The house is as listed and a wonderful home. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting along the river which was very peaceful. House is well stocked and clean. It was more house than what was needed for just two people, so we are keeping this house in mind for a larger group next time.

Beautiful home along the Deschutes River with plenty of amenities to enjoy your time at the home and on the river as well as walking distance from downtown Bend to explore the food and craft beer scene. Easy commute to Mt. Bachelor for great skiing. Would love to make it an annual destination.

As gorgeous and enticing as the pictures are of this wonderful house, they can't truly capture what a special place this is. It's incredibly well appointed with comfortable everything and you'll most anything you need somewhere in the very spacious kitchen. The backyard is a gem and the location is just perfect. One of my all time favorite places I've ever stayed on AirBnB.

This is my favorite rental home we've stayed in! Fantastic location within Bend - super close to everything and right on the water so in warm weather you could launch from the back deck. During our November stay we got to enjoy a light snow from the hot tub. Home is in awesome shape with lots of great touches (good knives, a growler so you can try local beer, a good mix of games and puzzles). We wish we'd booked a longer stay, and we'll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The location was perfect with an idyllic view of the river in the back. Delightful lazy afternoons watching the geese glide across the water. Also walked to nearby restaurants and had a delicious meal. Highly recommend.

Superbly cozy and spacious home with many spacious and warm rooms to lounge near a fireplace and enjoy the river views to the east. I could have spent our entire vacation just relaxing on the uber comfortable couches. If staying during a summer weekend, we recommend ear plugs due to a nearby tavern that was noisy into the early morning hours.

This was our first trip to Bend. We are celebrating our sons 28th birthday and he talked to much about Bend and moving here. We first had to come and take a look.
And oh my gosh! We really lucked out finding this treasure of a home! Right on the river. We have been counting down the days and now that we are here its ever more spectacular! "Just heavenly!"

This little bungalow is just about as close to perfect as you could get. The location is right on the river but within a few minutes walk to breweries, boutique shopping, and Drake Park. Loved having a cup of coffee with the geese and ducks first thing in the morning while listening to the birds sing. Seeing the flowing river every day was great therapy. The pictures on VRBO really don’t do it justice. If I had to offer any critique, beds could be a bit firmer, but other than that - just heavenly! Exceeded our expectations.

Oh where to begin?!
After almost a year and a half of separation due to Co-Vid, my husband and I booked out stay here at your home so we could re-unite with out West Coast family. Now we have been fortunate enough to stay in some beautiful places, however Stones Throw Bungalow is one of the most incredible!
The layout for starters, is PERFECT! Getting to entertain again in such an awesome kitchen and grilling area was marvelous. The TV room/kids area was so ideal because everyone had their own spaces without feeling separated. And what a time we had on the river!!! From paddle boarding to tubing- we did it all!! The memories and laughs we made and had here will never be forgotten and will be tough to beat.
What a place to make up for the "Lost" time!!

We’ve got two young boys (5 & 8) and this location couldn’t have been more perfect - we walked EVERYWHERE. Parks / playgrounds available both directions, downtown a quick & lovely stroll thru Drake Park and places to eat right down Galveston. The house is comfortable & the view of the river cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!!

This place had everything we needed! The location was amazing for our group which included 4 kids - walking distance to parks, direct access to kayaking, etc. We LOVED it. Hope to come back again soon!
