Modern thermostat control for the central heat and A/C will keep you comfortable year round. There are also several ceiling fans and portable fans in the home to make sure you are exactly the right temperature. For any chilly night, you'll love having a classic fireplace in the living room. We provide Duralogs so you can easily enjoy it anytime. Warm firelight is such a lovely way to wind down from a fun and busy day in Bend.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Upstairs, a spacious king suite with en suite bathroom awaits. On the main floor, you'll enjoy the 2 sweet queen bedrooms. The 2 queen bedrooms are separated by the shared main floor bathroom. All bedrooms feature high thread count linens, European style bedding, a selection of pillows and extra blankets as well. The king suite upstairs features an ensuite bathroom along with a spacious closet and a couple of seating areas for coffee or a book. The double vanity and closet area makes morning preparation so easy. The stall shower and toilet are separated from the vanity and bedroom by pocket doors. There is a ceiling fan in the king suite along with many windows for light and fresh air.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The vintage kitchen has been outfitted with all modern appliances. You'll love cooking on the 5 burner gas range. French door refrigerator with a drawer freezer makes meal prep a breeze. Lots go pots, pans, and all the platters and utensils you need for an amazing meal. There is also a small kitchen nook table for 4 in the kitchen which is perfect for morning coffee or a quick snack. The full dining room has been relocated to the front of the home, where there is lots of room to spread out. You'll love watching Bend pass by on this iconic Bend avenue.
FREE WIFI and ROKU LIVE TV
There are 2 smart TVs in the home. The living room features a 55 inch screen and the king bedroom upstairs is 40 inches. The upstairs TV features Live Roku TV with 350+ free channels and the ability to log into your own apps to watch your favorite streaming programs. There are also 2 desks in the home, perfect for your laptop if you need to catch up on work.
SALTWATER HOT TUB & OUTDOOR SPACES
This grassy and sweet backyard is the perfect spot to lounge in the shade on a warm afternoon or warm up in the sun on a chilly morning. You'll absolutely love having a saltwater hot tub at your back door. A soak is the perfect way to start and end your days in Bend. There is a large paver patio with a propane BBQ and adjacent seating for 6. Put your grill master to work. Don'f miss the side cooler for your favorite beverages. There are 6 cruiser bikes in the backyard garage...bring your own helmet for the best fit!
PARKING
The backyard opens up to the alley behind the home. There is approximately 40ft of parking space behind the home which can be very helpful if street parking is scarce. You are welcome to street park as well. Street parking is free and untimed.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This is Historic Old Bend...This is were the first logging operations set up in Bend in the early 1900's. As you walk the neighborhood, you'll see all sorts of craftsman homes from the early 1900's. Areas of this neighborhood are protected and listed on the National Historic Registry. This home is one of those early homes.
This is a great location for walking and riding your bike (6 provided) to downtown Bend, the amphitheater in the Old Mill, to any location on the westside. Park your car and get ready to explore by foot! Within a five-minute walk, you can reach Bend’s downtown restaurants, shops, art galleries, pubs, the Deschutes River, the Les Schwab Amphitheater, Drake Park and the Old Mill shopping district. Not to mention one of Bend’s favorite restaurants, Jackson’s Corner – just one block from the front door. Or, hop on one of the 6 provided cruiser bikes! You can literally park your car for your entire vacation.
This home is nestled into a historic, peaceful residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties.
