Unfortunately our trip started out on a sour note as we weren’t emailed the access code and had to wait 2 hours for a response after arrival.

It was disappointing after working overtime leading up to this vacation then having a long drive with a toddler only to have to keep them up past their bed time before being able to get in.

What was disappointing is it felt like the mistake was never acknowledged after several voicemails, emails, and texts. I received a canned response that sounded like it was AI or got no response at all.

Due to this I can’t recommend booking direct but would recommend booking through AirBnB where you would have their customer service to fall back on.

The home however, was lovely. The location is convenient, it felt new and clean, I appreciated that it was well stocked and that it wasn’t stocked with cheap items. From the soaps, to the toilet papers, to the bedding it all felt nice.

Had it not started out the way it did or had I received a human touch willing to acknowledge the issue this could’ve been a 5 star stay.

We are frequent visitors to the area and have stayed here a few times now. It's consistently been a great choice for us. Clean and comfortable, all amenities are in working condition, and check-in/out is simple as can be. We enjoy our stay here every time and recommend it to others.

The house was clean and in a very convenient location. As described, it’s a small bungalow, so it’s a little tight if you’re used to larger spaces. Very comfortable beds. We had an unusual issue with the kitchen faucet turning on in the middle of the night, but a search on Google said this could be due to excessive city water pressure at night. The owner said they would look into when we left. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay for our family of 4.

Exceptional walkable access to downtown Bend. Well appointed, fully remodeled bungalow. Great big kitchen/living space. Really nice back yard. Perfect for two friends.

Note: Bedrooms a little tight for two couples, but plenty of room for luggage in the living room.

We had a great stay at A Stone’s Throw Bungalow in Bend. The place was incredibly clean, in a fantastic location, and had everything we needed to cook meals comfortably. We loved being able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The bungalow was also very well stocked with toiletries, towels, soft linens, and a really nice outdoor space for relaxing and hanging out. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

We had a mixed experience at this lovely home. The location is unbeatable and the house itself is absolutely adorable, very cozy and well-decorated! However, we did struggle with a significant ant and spider issue throughout our stay. We were extremely diligent about keeping the floors crumb-free, but they kept appearing. The host was wonderful and very responsive, even dropping off spray for us to use, but having to manage a pest problem ourselves was definitely an inconvenience during our trip. Great potential here once the pests are fully under control!

Impeccable home. We could comfortably work from the beautiful home, fix some meals due to the well equipped kitchen and could quickly walk up to stores and restaurants given the convenient location.
We would definitely come back.

This stay was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences I've had overall. The Host was responsive, informative and pleasant. The home was located in a great part of town, making walking to different areas easy and enjoyable. The home was super clean and well appointed. Lots of little extras that really made for an enjoyable stay. Very comfortable, quiet, and secure. Hoping this bungalow will be available on my next trip to Bend!

Bathrooms well stocked with nice linens. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to downtown, River Walk, excellent grocery, and Old Mill district. We both commented that we could easily stay in this bungalow for a few weeks. You won’t regret your decision to stay here!

Great location! Only challenges are difficult to park in (need to reverse in or out of driveway on a busy major road), and both bedroom are WAY too hot at night. The thermostat sensor is in the living room, so we all had trouble sleeping at night when the bedrooms got insanely hot. Other than that, great stay

This is our second stay in one of Diana's homes. It is well equipped, clean and functional.

The kitchen was very nice as was the bedrooms and bathrooms. The backyard looked inviting, but we did not have nice weather to take advantage of it.

The location is great. Being close to downtown was nice.

The electronic lock on the front door was easy to use and worked well.

The house is beautifully remodeled, fully equipped, comfortable beds and a nice back yard with grill & fire pit. An easy walk to downtown, restaurants & coffee shops.

This house was amazing! The entire interior seemed brand new…fresh and inviting! The back yard was a great work area for me in the morning with the sun rise adding a little warmth to the cool air. The location was great; walking distance to old town Bend’s shops, restaurants and bars. The host, Diana, was super responsive and made sure we checked in and had everything we needed. Would HIGHLY recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Bend!

Such a great walkable location. You can go in either direction to hit restaurants, groceries, activities and shopping! Next time we will have to bring bikes and just ditch driving altogether!

Authentic old Bend bungalow in walking distance to the river, shops, restaurants--everything we need. This perfectly restored home is a gem!

I couldn’t recommend staying here more. First off, it is a wonderful location and walkable to so many restaurants and shops in downtown Bend. The Airbnb is so efficiently laid out and the furniture and fixtures were comfortable. The backyard is a true gem - complete with a table and a fire pit to enjoy the evenings. We also found the kitchen to be extremely well-equipped with cooking utensils and pots and pans, and there were also plenty of towels (and even beach towels) available for use. Diana was also checking in regularly. I would stay here a thousand times over!

This is a great place! You can easily walk to downtown Bend, and it is clean with all modern and updated fixtures. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property it is on the busy street and a bit of a hike into town. No flexibility at all on check-in even though it was completely empty. That is unless you wanted to pay extra.

This is a charming bungalow not far from downtown Bend. The home is newly renovated with beautiful woodwork and updated bathrooms and kitchen. The decor is lovely with neutral colors and interesting wall art. The entire bungalow is super clean. Diana has put thought into the details and amenities; we had everything we needed and more. We loved staying in this comfortable and cozy home and highly recommend it. We will be back!

Iwas in town for work at a downtown business. absolutely love the house, the decor, the kitchen had everything I needed, appreciated having access to washer and dryer. loved having off street parking. Was an easy walk to Market of Choice. restaurants and work. Host is a great communicated. the 2 bed, 2 bath would be perfect for 2 couples.

This is the best Airbnb experience I’ve had in years. This place was spotless when we walked in and super comfy for our long weekend in bend. When we had travel issues due to weather, we were so lucky to be able to extend our trip and Dianna’s team was so accommodating. The kitchen was well appointed, the location cannot be beat and it was quiet and comfortable. What more could a traveler ask for!

As other reviewers have said, this is a lovely Airbnb. It is comfortable and clean and has nearly everything that anyone could need. It’s also in a great location for access to downtown by foot. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would do so again the next time we’re in Bend.

We enjoyed our stay at Diana’s place. It really is well located for all the activities you would want to do in Bend - walking downtown, along the river, etc. It’s also close to a nice grocery store which was helpful. The house was very clean and cozy, and felt brand new. We would stay there again.

Perfect location for walkability to Bend downtown and Deschutes River. Clean, modern amenities, as pictured, comfortable beds and well stocked with all your needs. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne outside on the patio and found the chairs very comfortable. Great communication from the hosts and easy smart lock entry.
