A great little place with an excellent location on West side, easy walk to downtown and West side restaurants, breweries, food trucks & tap houses. Hot Tub and a sauna and nice back yard and front yard with a deck off the kitchen. Perfect for a couple or young family.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful, well kept, clean, nicely decorated home. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were top notch. Loved the hot tub and the backyard had a well manicured little garden oasis to sit out in. Host was lovely.

Such a lovely place, and so nice to be able to stroll across the bridge into downtown. Highly recommended!

Diana’s home was the perfect spot for us to stay with our family and it was equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The location was perfect and within walking distance from so much. Westside is the best side.

Loved the bungalow. Not only for the jacuzzi and the sauna, but it had all the amenities. A turntable with a small record collection and some games. And just really well curated. Super comfortable to be in. I love the neighborhood. My third time staying close by. Close to lots of options. Love Bend. Diana was fantastic to communicate with. Diana’s bungalow made for the perfect recharge in Bend. We loved the sauna, the book collection, and the chimes sprinkled throughout the property. Most of all, we were grateful for the beautiful & well-stocked kitchen! We came prepared with all our cooking supplies & were pleasantly surprised we needed none of it!

We loved staying at this Bungalow. The living room is super cosy and the kitchen had all the things we needed. I was a big fan of the bathroom that has a heated floor and bidet! Diana was very responsive throughout the trip when we had a few questions about where items were located.

We had a great stay at this house! The location was very walkable. The house was clean, comfortable, and as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive.

This is a magical property in the heart of Bend. The backyard alone was a highlight of our stay, and the interior is so charming and very well-equipped. My husband and I spent one entire day of the trip not even leaving the property because it was so relaxing. Cannot recommend enough.

I was already excited when I saw the pictures online, but walking in was even better. It was very well kept, and so cute! The entire stay was very comfortable and the backyard was so peaceful. I didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub or sauna, but I did spend every night sitting out there just enjoying the beauty. The neighborhood is amazing, as well. People walking and just enjoying life. Definitely nice to come “home” to after a long days work. Thank you Diana!

Great house with personality. It was a bit smoky while we stayed there so we didn't take advantage of the awesome backyard space. Harmon Park is a block away which was so nice with our kiddos.

Location, location, location!!!

I don’t stay at the home much, I love the outdoors, good food and a nice cold beer nearby and this place had it all.

Most important from me, I used to live in San Diego and boy do I miss an outdoor fire pit. I didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub or sauna but will in the future. This is my second year in a row in Oregon, now Bend and this house are in my annual trip list.

This is a very cute place -- it worked perfectly for us -- two adults along with our adult daughter who stayed in the second bedroom. It was very clean. We loved the shower. There was a very minor issue with the toaster -- we couldn't really figure it out!
It was well stocked, and there were nice beach towels that we used for the hot tub. The sauna was great, too. Location VERY convenient to the market and to some really good restaurants. the host was VERY responsive. All in all, a great trip. I put four stars for the price, which is maybe not fair, but I'm still getting used to prices in the Pacific Northwest as a whole!

Diana’s house was great. Great layout. Super cute. Easy to walk downtown or to a great market. Really clean. And in a quiet neighborhood.

Diana‘s place immediately feels so homey and comfortable! The kitchen had everything you could need, things were easy to find, and the appliances were wonderful! The bathroom was super accessible and with ample usable space- it also was so cute. There is a great patio off the kitchen to share a meal or read- we loved it.

You cannot beat the location! You are an easy two minute walk to a gorgeous park, 5 to 7 minute walk to a fantastic grocery store, and in 10 minutes or less to the heart of downtown Bend. We easily walked everywhere!

Diana’s place was hard to leave, and so was Bend! This may have been our favorite stay, ever.

Awesome place perfect location helpful host. Had a small issue with the hot tub, texted the provided number and got an immediate response and fixed it right up. Would definitely stay there again. Loads of games for our kids. Also, a record player which they definitely got a kick out of.

We loved this place! The location was awesome, and we were able to walk/bike to restaurants, coffee, the river, etc. The vibe is sort of hip retro chic, with a functioning turntable (and a surprisingly good selection of vinyl), a keyboard, ukuleles, and interesting art throughout. Great books to boot! The backyard was a very peaceful and beautiful oasis...loved the sauna and outdoor shower. The kitchen and amenities were all a person could ask for, and the beds were comfy. Truly, a great place!

I live in Seattle and wanted to show Bend to my siblings coming in from Dallas for a long weekend. The place was everything I hoped for - charming, peaceful, clean, cozy, walkable and had everything we needed. One of the primary reasons for selection was the backyard - with its jacuzzi and sauna - and it was amazing. No complaints , would book again.

I couldn't have had a nicer stay at Diana's. The house was lovely inside and out! The decor was simple yet a little whimsical. The location is unbeatable as restaurants and markets are a short walk away. The backyard will entice you to sit and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I highly recommend Diana's house in Bend for a stay.

We stayed here at Diana’s place for 2 nights with two kids and an infant. The place was perfectly located for activities, breweries, great coffee and restaurants all within walking distance. The Lot (food court) is just a block away. The sauna and hot tub were a great touch. The place comes with an EV charger which was a huge plus for us. I would definitely come back here next time We’r in Bend. The host was extremely responsive throughout the day and even later in the evening .

Wouldn’t say this could easily sleep 6, the Queen bed is a double not a queen and house is very crowded (furniture blocking/behind doors and walkways).

Perfect spot for our little family to enjoy a weekend in Bend. We were able to walk restaurants and felt safe in the neighborhood. Little touches such as the pack n play, high chair, and toddler friendly dishes made the stay easy.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The house was great, with everything we needed for a family of 4. Highlights were the tranquil backyard with a hot tub and sauna, the well setup kitchen, storage for bikes and easy walking to many of the great things Bend has. Would definitely stay here again.

Diana was a wonderful host. She was always very polite and quick to answer any questions or concerns I had. The house is a perfect getaway for those looking to relax with a hot tub, sauna, fire pit and outdoor shower. Lots of privacy and beautiful landscaping in both the front and back yard. The location is fantastic, you’re just a short walk to beautiful Drake Park and Mirror Pond, even Hayden Homes Amphitheatre if very walkable. It also has everything you need to stay in, but why bother when there’s so many great restaurants, breweries and food trucks nearby. I was surprised by all of the thoughtful little extras in Diana’s home, especially the kitchen, that make it feel like a home. The growler came in very handy as Sunriver Brewing quickly sold out of cans from their 2023 Beer World Cup Gold Medal winner, Something Dank. Thanks Diana, I look forward to coming back in the future.

This is a true 5-star place. For starters, the location can't be beat - from this house you can easily walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown Bend, the river and river walkways, the convenience store, and to many parks. We love visiting places where everything is walkable and this home was absolutely ideal for it. Everything about the house is great - the bedrooms are comfortable and situated apart from each other, the kitchen is very spacious and well-equipped, the bathroom is very modern and extremely clean and pleasant to be in with ample storage. The living room furniture is comfortable with a bookshelf full of great reads. The decor is thoughtful and cool, and makes this place feel like a home. The driveway made parking ideal. And the very best part of this home is the extremely private backyard; a gorgeous garden where hummingbirds visited the various flowers, a fire pit, hot tub and very new-age sauna, an outdoor shower and plenty of different outdoor furniture to sit on.

We had a wonderful stay! This place was a magical place. Hot tub and sauna were impeccably clean. Kitchen had all the necessities to cook our dinner with ease. Ate outside on the deck in chairs that were covered in comfortable pillows. Wifi and air conditioning worked great! 10+ stars! Diana is the most responsive host we’ve ever worked with! We will definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay in Bend. Restaurants, grocery store, bakery, coffee shops, bike rentals and brewpubs are all within a short walk. The back yard/patio is very nice with a clean hot tub, sauna and fire pit. The house is perfect for two couples and I’m hoping I can stay there again!

The location is PERFECT. We rode our bikes everywhere even to the park across town to watch the fireworks on the 4th!
Caught a great concert across the bridge for Munch & Music on Thursday! Hiking @ Tumalo Falls on Wed.

Was a wonderful trip and this house made for the perfect place to walk, ride, and walk some more! We hope to return here like so many others do!

The folks at A Stone's Throw bent over backwards to insure our stay was great. With no air-conditioning, the house got hot due to the upper 90s temps, but the staff brought over two really nice stand fans that helped tremendously to cool the house at night. The attention to detail in the house is refreshing in both decoration and amenities. The appliances are up to date and in good working order and the kitchen is well stocked with just about every kind of pan or tool one might need, including good knives! We enjoyed the proximity to down town, the river and good restaurants and grocery (love Newport Avenue Market!). Although the cost is pricy, I would stay at the Hop Vine again...just maybe not in July during high heat!

The Hop Vine is fantastic. You can't beat the location - quick walks to downtown, restaurants, parks and grocers. We also appreciated the attention to detail provided by A Stone's Throw - seemingly every time we needed something, we found it. Communication was thorough and timely. We had a question about the hot tub and received follow-up immediately (on a weekend). We spent 10 days at the Hop Vine and it felt like home . Miss it and Bend already.

Wow. This adorable bungalow has everything we could wish for...amazing landscaping in the backyard with hot tub and fire pit. There is a deck off the kitchen with both Traeger and gas barbecues. The inside is tastefully done. The colors schemes are beautiful the beds are memory foam and so comfortable. Top of the line linens. Bikes and helmets are also there. The location is just a block or so from Drake Park. The neighborhood is charming and quiet. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and so kind. They made sure our stay was relaxing and fun. We will definitely return.

An excellent place to base yourself to explore Bend. Walking distance to much of the town’s food, beer and nightlife, plenty of space for quiet relaxation. Highly recommended!

This house is a cute spot to stay, with a great central location. The info book was chalk full of tips and details about the property and the area, very through. The hot tub was so great, and while the back yard was covered in snow, it looked like a great space to hang out when the weather is nicer. We enjoyed our visit, and would book again. It is an older home, but is well cared for.

This woodsy chic bungalow has all the charm of grandma’s old cottage with the comforts of modern technology and decor! Plenty of space and privacy to relax those sore muscles after a day carving slopes or conquering Bend’s Ale Trail. Kitchen was surprisingly spacious and stocked new appliances and utensils. The patio off the kitchen makes summer grilling convenient while the hot tub and fire pit provide a perfect setting to wind down an adventure filled day. For those in your group who prefer to Netflix and Chill over shredding down the hill, the Samsung smart tv + Apple TV will provide plenty of entertainment in the living room. Be sure to check out the vinyl collection! Even though they don’t have your local record label’s indie cuts, you’re sure to find an album or two to throw on in the background (plus, that local record would be totally not cool if everyone had it...right?)

Great Place! Very comfortable with a mid century modern theme. Great location, just a few blocks from our new favorite restaurant, Spork, and many good breweries. The record player was fun to play around with including a great selection of classics. The kitchen is well equipped with super sharp knives and a Tragger grill on the porch. My personal favorite was the hot tub and fire pit in the private back yard! Perfect after a day of snowboarding on the mountain! Thanks! We'll be back for sure!
