Host communicated well and we had a pleasant stay. House felt comfortable and easy to relax in.

We had a blast at the Elderberry Cottage! It was clean with thoughtful touches like local coffee and some tea. The hot tub was delightful, the beds comfortable, we felt safe, and it was great to be walking distance from downtown. Would stay here again!

Stones Throw Bungalow was the perfect getaway destination in Bend. Easily walkable to downtown plus all the river front parks are accessible. We had a relaxing time and would come back!

What a great little house. We felt right at home and had a great stay. It was a pretty walk to town and was so nice having the dogs with us. Bend is a great town. We didn’t want to leave!

My husband, and our two dogs, and I had an absolute dream of a week staying at Diana's beautiful home. We loved the walkability of the neighborhood and strolled along the Deschutes River Trail every day and explored many new restaurants and stores, all a literal stones throw away from our front door. The house was cozy and had every amenity needed: from a fully stocked kitchen, to a meticulously clean bathroom with plenty of towels, to a warm, inviting living space with plenty of seating - we truly felt like we were at home. We indulged in the hot tub, built a few fires in the fireplace on brisk evenings, and our dogs loved running around the backyard. We can't wait to stay here again next time we're in Bend!

The place was great! The 3 bedrooms are good size and accommodate 2 guests each easily, sharing beds. The single bathroom has good storage and counter space. The bathroom door is difficult to close (historic home issue). Important to note when you're with a group though. A sign would be helpful to note its in use. Location is great. 4 blocks maybe from Mirror Pond. super close to downtown. The yard and the hot tub were perfect too. Really enjoyed it for our pups and the cool night. Would stay again!

Cute clean place! Perfect for what we needed

This house had a great location and awesome host. The house itself is old, with all the quirks that come with an older home. Squeaky floors, items that need replacement, and much of the updating that has been done feels like it was DIY. That said, the house is totally functional, just expensive for what you get for furniture and finishes. The location is super convenient to downtown and the beds were squishy and comfortable. I was hoping for a little higher quality furnishings, but get that this is a dog friendly house so we understand why the furniture is what it is. The owner provided a few spices, lots of cleaning supplies, a washer and dryer, nice pans and knives. Three king beds was also great for our family. We would love to stay again, based on dog friendliness and location, but would hesitate at the cost per night after all fees are added.

I LOVED this place. Super convenient to walk to restaurants etc. We went out one night and stayed in to cook one night. The kitchen was well appointed and the grill was perfect. This place is great.

Convenient location, we were able to walk to dinner and Drake park. Place was clean and host was very responsive to any questions. Strictly enforced quiet time for the hot tub started at 10pm. The hot tub was nice after enjoying an active day exploring Bend. They did not have excessive checklist at checkout so that was also a bonus.

The house feels like a home not an airbnb. The kitchen was very big & airy! Extremely well equipped! Wonderful windows! The bathroom was oversized with lots of towels! All 3 bedrooms were big with king beds. The neighborhood was the best! Walking into town or around Drake Park (My Favorite) takes 5 minutes. It’s the perfect house & location! Very safe & quiet!

This isn't the first time we've stayed here for a weekend in Bend, and it certainly won't be the last! We're looking forward to next time!

It was great

Our large family of 7 fit comfortably in this cozy home. It was a great weekend escape! VERY dog friendly! Fenced yard and an incredible off-leash park a few minutes away. BUT! The best part about this rental was the fact that they tell you to leave all the cleaning to them! No need to start any loads of laundry or dishes or sweep... nada! You actually get to enjoy the home the whole time you're there! There's always enough cleaning to be done when you get home so it's always annoying to spend your last morning at somewhere you are paying cleaning up. I've always thought to myself, I wish they would just figure in the cost of cleaning and charge me for it and Diana actually did this! I've stayed in many Air BNB's and have never had this service included or even offered for an extra charge! I will definitely tell friends about this place!

Our family of four, plus our pet, enjoyed our stay. We loved how walkable to the downtown area, shops and restaurants we were. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking.

If it were possible, I'd give Diana's cottage 6 stars! From booking to departing, every interaction and aspect was seamless and easy. Diana led the way with clear, helpful communications. The cottage itself was warm, inviting, and well appointed. Its location is great with Old Bend with its stores, breweries, and restaurants is a short walk away. As is the Deschutes River Trail. The next time I'm in Bend, I'll stay here again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful bnb! Great walkable location to downtown restaurants and galleries. Bend was in beautiful fall weather with colorful trees. Loved that we were able to bring our dog w us. Even equipped for a dog. Bend is a very friendly dog town. Most restaurants accept dogs at outside table. One even had a dog menu for them! Bowels, sheet for furniture etc.
We will certainly be back be back!??

This house is great. The location alone is fabulous. Easy access to Bend, the river, etc. We really liked the layout and the wonderful dining area just outside the kitchen. We felt right at home. Nice selection of kitchen equipment which is a key criteria of mine. Thank you again. A great base from which to stage our foray into the mountains for our daughter's wedding ceremony and related activities.

July 4th and then the summer festival led to a great break. Bend and the surrounding area has so many things to do.

Charming Bungalow walkable to downtown, close to any activity on the river, and a great jumping point to locations outside of bend

We stayed here prior to a big gravel bike race and it was such a great location and a comfortable house. It was chilly while we were there so we didn’t use the outside space but i can see how it would be nice to hang out in the back yard or the very nice side yard. The living area is comfortable and the bedrooms are very nice. Loved the sheets and pillows! Diana was extremely responsive and sent us a fun online guidebook before we got there. The other thing that stood out was the kitchen. The house has every pan or utensil (or one close enough) that you might need. The best stocked kitchen airbnb ever for me! Highly recommend - we felt lucky to get to rent it!

Stayed with friends for a getaway weekend and the house was great. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a coffee grinder. It was so convenient to walk to downtown and back. A great weekend in a cute house.

Great little place near downtown, 25 minutes to Mt. Bachelor. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had just the right amount of items for our short stay. House is older as described but was well cared for. Only issue was a strong smell of smoke from the fireplace, a neutralizing candle would have been great but not a big deal.

Very nice house it was old but updated and had a lot of charm . Very walkable to the downtown breweries and restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and nice. Beds where very comfortable. It rained while we where there so didn’t get to enjoy the backyard or hot tub. But it all looked great. Will definitely stay here again.

Location, hot tub, space! What more can you say? The house was in an absolutely amazing location - walk to downtown in 3 minutes! The house and grounds were pretty, I loved the neighborhood. The hot tub was a great feature and fantastic to help you unwind after a day on the slopes. And the space was nice, comfortable, and spacious. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I had a great stay in this home! The hot tub was a great amenity and love spending time out there in the snowy weather. The host were on top of things! They took care of putting the trash barrels out for pick up and shoveling the walk and path to the house when we had a few snowy days

Such a cute house with more space than you expect. We only really used the mugs and cups since we were enjoying Downtown Bend's dining scene, but the kitchen seemed well stocked and our kids appreciated the chocolates and hot cocoa. Hot tub was easy and lovely. Yard is big for an urban lot and we want to come back in warmer weather to appreciate it. Great central location, easy to walk to downtown, no problems parking. You don’t find many AirBNBs of this quality these days. Feels like an AirBNB from ten years ago when people still cared about all the details to make a stay great and didn’t just throw together a rental property furnished by walmart. Expect comfy beds, great WiFi, a kitchen you can cook in, and a family room you’d want to hang out in. Was great for our dog (fenced yard!) and our family for a long weekend. Only bummer was hot tub broke before we arrived. They compensated us $25 / night for the inconvenience which didn’t really make up for it but what can you really do I suppose. Things happen and they tried their best to fix it. Thanks for the nice stay. Would stay again any season.

Great location and a nice house, Diana is very communicative and organized as well. Bedding was very cozy and comfy after a day hiking and then hot tub. Didn't use the fireplace but would've been nice if it was colder. Well-appointed kitchen and grille encouraged us cooking in for our group. Only real downside is only 1 bathroom, but that's manageable.

Beautiful home with backyard and hot tub in a perfect location. Walkable to downtown, 5 minutes from the river. Also minutes away from our favorite coffee and food spots. The central AC had a hard time keeping up during an exceptionally hot week but the in room window AC kept the rooms comfortable and cool. Very easy check-in process. Overall would definitely recommend!

The cottage was just as described, super cute in a great location with all the amenities! It was the perfect place to take refuge on a hot summer's day - and within walking of the river, shopping and great brew pubs. Diane and her team are totally organized and everything was perfect. This sweet craftsman bungalow is lovely. A perfect location to all that Bend has to offer. We walked to town, walked the river trail, walked our paddle boards to the river to get out on the water, the list goes on.

I don’t know why all the other reviewers said this was a perfect location, because I found that I couldn’t walk anywhere with my kids. I had to drive a mile away just to get Ice and milk. The home was good in the fact that the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook even a blender. Appliances not food. They did provide cooking oil which was nice because most people forget that. The hot tub was great except we couldn’t find a light at night. There were enough towels for all 7 of us to go into hot tub which was nice. The host was prompt, but changed exit routine the morning I was to leave. There is a book that says to put your towels in the washer before you leave and start the dishwasher, but at 7am the host texted me and asked me to strip the beds and put it in bags provided. ( no bedding bags were provided). I paid a large cleaning fee and I feel like that should cover all cleaning. I would be happy to schedule time to clean before leaving if I didn’t pay so much or it was a friends house. I chose this place for the hardwood floors fireplace and hot tub. I have young kids. Oh no doors lock, so if you need to lock kids out good luck. We didn’t get to use the fireplace. I would recommend this place it was fun.

The location is amazing and there were lots of thoughtful touches from the beer growler to clear, concise instructions. Most importantly we had a couple of issues and they communicated effectively and worked quickly to resolve them. Things happen sometimes with rentals; what matters is how you respond and they did a fantastic job.

The location makes this house an incredible option for out-of-town visitors to Bend. We especially loved the side deck space for wintertime grilling and hot tubing. Diana and her organized and communicative team make the whole experience nice and easy.

The location of this cottage is superb! We walked into downtown Bend every day. The house was well equipped for a winter stay and the house was cozy and warm when we arrived. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and star gazing on the clear nights. We’d happily visit again!

Even a dog bowl and sheet to cover the furniture for our pup. We cooked a lot during our visit and the kitchen had everything we needed as well. Celebrated my 30th birthday here. Woke up today and felt sad we had to leave. This place is so cozy with the fireplace and the hot tub was a big bonus. Thanks for being so thoughtful with the growler. We definitely put that to use. The food here in Bend is probably the best part about our visit. A truly relaxing place to call home. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. All the best vibes!

Only wish the couch and coffee table were a little bigger for even greater relaxation environment.

The house was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. There is a private parking place in the back where we left our car and walked everywhere for the first 4 days we were in town. If you have dogs, the fence is good but if your fur baby is small, check the gate as you may want to make sure he/she can't wiggle through the boards. The BBQ worked well and outdoor table/chairs lovely for summer. All in all, a great rental in Bend!

The bathroom is super spacious and so are all of the bedrooms. The beds were very comfy as well. They had everything we needed for cooking which was super great! The out side space is a lot more than I thought, but it was nice and very cute

A Stones Throw is a great house for a stay in bend. 5 minute walk to downtown. The hot tub was perfect during the cool nights. Very easy check in and great location

We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked to cook big meals for hungry hikers and the hot tub was such a bonus! I would definitely come back if I was staying in Bend!

A Stone's Throw was a nice place to stay in Bend! Close to downtown and easy to walk to multiple places. It fit six adults comfortably as long as everyone is okay with sharing a bathroom. The only issue we had was with the bathroom door sticking, which was pretty minor. The outdoor space in the backyard with the hot tub was a nice place to wind down after a long day. Two out of the three bedrooms had a window a/c unit which came in handy! We had a lovely time and the hosts were easy to get in touch with if needed.

Unbeatable location in Bend, minutes away from downtown. Had a great stay at this little cottage with a group of friends. Comfy beds, hot tub is great. Highly recommend !

The cottage is nicely renovated and has three comfortable bedrooms and nice size kitchen. Amenities include large gas grill and a hot tub, both easy to use. Good neighborhood and great location just a few blocks from the downtown. Wonderful place to stay!

A cozy, clean, quiet, and relaxing house with tons of character. Walking distance to downtown Bend. House comes equipped with everything, just need to bring your food for the bbq and swimwear for the hot tub.

Absolutely loved this place!! It was a great location and only a 5minute walk to shops downtown. The space was so cute too and the beds are extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend this place!
