What a great place! Perfect location, quiet, clean, SO comfortable, cozy and fun!

We stayed for a week and were able to walk and ride bikes easily to everything. We also brought our mountain bikes and were so happy to be able to ride up to the Phil’s trail network. We also took advantage of the cruiser bikes and rode into town and along the river just about every day.

The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home, so we ended up making dinner in the house most nights.

This location was walkable to many top restaurants and breweries, to the lot food trucks, to the river and to downtown. It was cozy and clean and Diana was very responsive! I’d stay at another Stones Throw Bungalow again.

The bed was really comfortable, the light in the bedroom was amazing, and the shower pressure was SO GOOD. The house temperature was perfect when I arrived.

The house had everything I needed and the backyard area was so cute and quiet.

It was very easy to park in the front of the house and the keypad made getting in and out so simple.

This centrally-located, cute house has higher ceilings and is brighter than I expected. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had for an Air BnB (or VRBO), and the master is a special treat with windows on three sides and morning sun — once you reach behind you and raise the blinds. There are a variety of food trucks on the next block up, which you don’t expect since the neighborhood is so quiet. Very convenient. Well-equipped kitchen, too.

we chose this place for it's walkability to restaurants, hot tub, and 3 bedrooms and we were super pleased. comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful yard and nice hot tub made for a pleasant stay with 4 adults, a toddler and an infant. we appreciated the pack n play for our toddler to use. overall, great stay and you can tell this Airbnb is top notch and a well oiled machine with their online guide book and check ins from the host.

The Bella Bird Bungalow is a great place to stay! It's really spacious with easy check-in in a quiet neighborhood. The house is well appointed and would be a great place for a family to stay. Each bedroom is decently sized, the bathrooms were clean, and had plenty of linens. The kitchen is large and seemed to have a good assortment of pots, pans, and cooking utensils but we didn't cook while we were there. The location is really fantastic, just a short walk to the river, to some great restaurants, and breweries.

This property is truly outstanding! The house was extremely comfortable, well lit with large windows and a wooden floor in the living room. Comfortable couch. Reading chairs. Dining table. Fireplace. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And the yard was beautifully landscaped with multiple sitting areas.

Not only was the property “homey”, but everything was very professionally managed. People maintained the hot tub and others came by to take the trash and recycling to/from the street. The house was very clean and smelled good. The owner/manager apparently manages half a dozen properties in town, and it’s clear that they know what they are doing. Really a joy to stay there!

Beautiful, cozy home in peaceful surroundings. Comfortable beds, pillows, linens, towels, also an excellent selection of quality bath products. We didn’t cook but very well stocked kitchen. Loved all the books on the history of Bend. Nice extra touches in every room.

My husband and I agree that Diana’s place was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The house itself was very cute, so well-decorated and cozy, and super clean. The neighborhood is darling. Diana was very communicative and everything about our stay went smoothly.

Fantastic home-away-from-home in Bend. We walked EVERYWHERE. Great places to eat and fun things to do. Felt very cozy and comfortable, and I loved coming home to the hot tub after a long day of walking around, and playing in the snow.

The Bella Bird Bungalow is wonderful! Perfect for our family! We actually said we could see ourselves living in the house because it was so perfectly set up.
It was as described and very well-appointed. It's in a great location- walking distance to the restaurants and shopping, and only about 30min from Mt Bachelor. My children and I visited for the week to go snowboarding at Mt Bachelor and we had a fabulous stay. We walked to restaurants as night and were able to also cook full dinners as well. The hot tub was an added benefit, which we enjoyed after snowboarding all day. It helped soothe on weary muscles.
Diana and staff were so helpful! Easy to get hold of when I had a question and super responsive! They truly made us feel welcome! They were friendly and sweet!

This place was comfortable and perfect for a family. We loved that we could walk to great coffee shops, restaurants and of course the river! This was an easy stay with no stress.

This house is exactly what Bend is. Close to restaurants, breweries, parks and on the way to the mountain. The house is ina classic Bend neighborhood and is very clean. Nice beds and linens and a nice backyard. I would DEFINITELY stay and recommend this house.

We felt so at home and had such a great time! We can’t say enough good things about the house! It felt so homey from the minute we walked in! We arrive just after dark, and the lights were all on to welcome us. The house is decorated so well, but not in a way that we felt uncomfortable with our teenagers and baby- so much character in the home and such a great location! We loved the hot tub! We loved the food trucks and breweries in walking distance! We loved how responsive and helpful Diana was! We loved the games! We LOVED the games. I loved how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans, and various appliances, didn’t quite get the opportunity to try the fondue pot! Next time! We would love to come back in warmer weather for some front porch sitting, too! We had such a great time and felt so at home!

We loved staying at the Bella Bird! It was a beautiful bungalow with great decor and ambiance. It was stocked with everything you need, and we loved the comfy beds and fluffy towels. The hot tub and bikes that were provided were great perks! The location was excellent, in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and food trucks. Diana was a great host, so proactive in communicating with us and providing clear, detailed instructions. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!!

Best of all was the location. Half a block away was a great spot with multiple food trucks. One block away is multiple coffee/breakfast spots.

A wonderful old bungalow in Bend near downtown making it easily walkable to coffee, restaurants and the Deschutes River trail. The house has been extensively updated and beautifully restored with wonderful local decor. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is clean, neat and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Bella Bird Bungalow was amazing! Clean and comfortable, with very fun country decor. The location is fabulous!! Moments from local breweries and restaurants. A easy short walk from the Pedestrian Bridge to Downtown through Drake Park. All the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, we had such a great weekend out and about in Bend we did not have time to use the Hot Tub but it was all ready to go for us. When we needed to reach out to Diana she (and all the staff) were responsive, friendly and very helpful. The kitchen was loaded with amenities and was very functional even though we didn't cook much. I will definietly recommend this place to friends and family! Thank you!

We stayed with our two kids for a great spring break stay at Diana's place in Bend. The home is comfortable, cozy, and extremely clean, and the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked! We had a question about the hot tub temperature and had a response and solution right away from Diana and her property staff.

The home is walkable to a park, several restaurants, food trucks, coffee shops, and a great little grocery store. Also, a quick 30 min. drive to Mt. Bachelor and centrally located to other areas in the city. Thank you for a great stay!

This house and host couldn’t have been more perfect for our stay! Incredibly homey, extremely well equipped and went above and beyond with making accommodations for my daughter. The hot tub was clean and inviting, the neighborhood was safe and beautiful. Walk to the lot for dinner, grab a beer at boss rambler, and cuddle up next to the fireplace!

We told Diana we'd be celebrating Christmas, and arrived to find the house beautifully decorated for Christmas! The house is very welcoming, comfortable, and warm, perfect for a winter vacation in Bend! We enjoyed beautiful fires in the fireplace - Diana leaves a stockpile of wood for our use! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything and more than we needed. The beds are super comfortable. The house is amazingly clean! We enjoyed hosting my sister's family for dinner at the table, adjacent to the fireplace, and playing games at the same table. Parking was easy. We enjoyed the quick walk to Mirror Pond and Drake Park and downtown Bend in the snow. Will definitely stay here on future visits to Bend - hopefully in the summer next time! Thank you!

This Bella Bird Bungalow is very professionally run and it shows. the checkin is easy, there are clear instructions, the house is well equipped and very comfortable. We found everything we needed for meal preparation in the kitchen and it is well stocked with oils, herbs and spices. The beds were very clean and comfortable, with extra blankets. there were plenty of towels as well as beach towels for the hot tub, which also worked well and was ready to go when we got there. This is the first Airbnb that I have stayed in that didn't ask you to strip the beds and start the laundry. It's in a great location, very walkable to many stores and restaurants. Easy to get to Mt. Bachelor. Really top notch, we will be back.

We had an amazing time in Bend partly because the location of our Airbnb. We were able to walk along the river front to the downtown shops, breweries and restaurants. The place was cozy after skiing. We were able to build a fire and soaked in the hot tub which made things extra special. We definitely plan on coming back and hope to stay here again.

We loved this little bungalow. Very kid friendly, fenced backyard, chirping birds, etc. Well stocked kitchen. Fantastic location! Walked to eat some tacos, fill our growler, Spot, Town. The park was very pretty. We had a great time.

a stones throw is truly a stones throw restaurants, bars, and shops a block away. the property itself is inviting warm and cozy. the beds were very comfortable and clean. the hot tub after a long day of skiing was the cherry on top. I could not recommend this place more and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bella Bird Bungalow. It was perfect for our family of five. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown, and only a few blocks from coffee shops and restaurants. The house is well stocked with everything you might need, and the layout and decor are superb. The only issue we had was that the hot tub was broken for 7 out of the 8 days that we were there. We were really looking forward to using the tub after long days of skiing. Diana and her team did their best to get repairs made, but parts were not available.

We loved this sweet home! Great location - the food trucks were perfect for dinner after a late arrival on the first night and we enjoyed the short walk to frozen yogurt the next day. The house was cozy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (one of the most well-stocked kitchens I've seen among Airbnbs). We loved the fireplace with the gas igniter! And the cleanliness, communication, and organization were top-notch. We'll definitely stay at this home, or another managed by Diana, again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Birdnest. The place feels like home and have all we need for a family gathering. The wooden fireplace and Hot Tub are great addition to make the stay unique. The location is in very quiet neighborhood but also 2-blocks from Drake park, and coffee shops, Brunch, food carts, parks and playgrounds are all in walking distance. The house is well stocked with all amenities we need, and beds are all very comfortable. Overall we really like our stay here and definitely will come back.

We loved our stay! We spent hours cozied up by the fireplace. I loved the antiques and the layout of the house. The bed was super comfortable. A huge part of what we loved was the walkability to the cafes and restaurants. We walked to dinner, to get coffee in the morning. That was super fun. Perfect location!!

The Bungalow is very comfortable and feels like home. Did not want to leave. It is in a great location. Close to Cascade lakes for kayaking and hiking. Recommend upper Tumalo falls hike. This hike has 4 waterfalls and is 4 miles roundtrip. The food trucks are so good. We recommend Bosas for dinner. Great food and service. Thank you again!

Stones Throw Bungalow is in a fabulous location. Easy walk to old Bend. Several breweries, restaurants and cafés within a 10 minute walk. Really nice, comfortable, well provisioned home. I couldn’t recommend it higher. We have stayed in Airbnb‘s all over the country, and this was one of the very best.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed this lovely cottage, meticulously maintained inside and out! Charming decor throughout, clean and comfortable living area and bedrooms, well stocked kitchen (though we hardly cooked because there are so many great restaurants and food trucks nearby). Enjoyed family time on the front and back porches. Highlight of this cottage is the location- safe neighborhood feeling, yet within walking distance to the town center (.8miles), and 2-5 minute walk to the river, food trucks, breakfast, lunch and dinner spots, breweries, farmers market,...nice touch that 4 bikes were included, but we ended up walking everywhere since there were 5 of us. This was our first time traveling around Oregon. Only spent 3 nights here and wish we had planned for more time in Bend. Favorite nearby hike was Misery Ridge at Smith Rock, and found a great fly-fishing spot with a trail along Fall River. A must-see is Crater Lake and was only about 1 1/2 hours to the North Entrance. Planning to visit Bend again, perhaps to ski, and hope to stay here again. We have already recommended this place to friends!

This is a perfect gem of a stay in Bend. My husband and I booked this home with 4 of our friends. We enjoyed the perfect adult weekend. This home has all the amenities you need and the hot tub was a HIT! The yard is a beautiful oasis. And nothing beats the location. We could take a short drive to the river or restaurants but honestly you can walk too!!!! The owners were extremely responsive when we we needed anything. I recommend staying here for your Bend trip!

What a perfect spot tp stay with out 2 year old! He loved all the birds in the yard and jumping his truck on the window sill and coffee table.
We traveled to Bend for a press conference I hosted for work and found a vacation spot we'll return to. We loved visiting Megaphone coffee, Big O Bagels, spork and the High Desert museum. All very toddler friendly!

We had a very nice stay. The three of us had plenty of room to stretch out after some great days on the Mountain! Everything you need, they had for cooking, i.e., spices, slow cooker, pots/pans, serving bowls, utensils, coffee grinder, knives.... Best stocked kitchen I've experienced so far :0) My daughter stayed in the bedroom next to the Livingroom and she heard us on the first morning talking . She used earplugs the next night and had no problem with the next few days.

This is a true Gem! We loved our stay. It’s the perfect location, great size, cozy and clean! We hope to be back soon.

All I can say is WOW the host went above and beyond to all your needs. We had absolutely everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless inside and out. So well taken care of, I’m amazed at the level of detail that the host put into this home. Everything was provided including spices for cooking which was a HUGE deal for us for we cooked most meals at the house! The home is in a perfect location close to nearly everything. We walked to the coffee shop and food truck which were only a block away! Loved the whole stay would return again 100%!!! Also the beds were very comfortable and allowed us to sleep good! Definitely made a girls trip so much better!

Fabulous walkable location with good restaurants nearby. Cute neighborhood full of bungalows and nice garden spaces. We loved the hot tub and the bikes and hanging out on the front porch. The filled growler in the fridge and truffles were super nice touches. We all loved our sunny weekend in Bend at the Bird Nest bungalow.

We spent 3 amazing nights in Bend. We loved the house, everything was sparkling clean and with everything we needed. The location is simply perfect so close from great diner spots and all you’d need.

A fantastic spot in a perfect location. Walking distance to all the food, beer, and groceries you could need/want, and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We stayed with our 10-month-old and our parents and the house and yard gave us plenty of space. The toys were also very much appreciated!

Best ski trip ever! Cabin was very warm and toasty! We had so much fun staying here! Thank you, would love to come again!

The customer service at A Stone’s Throw is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced with a vacation rental company. They worked with us on finding a great property for our family and we had the best time. The home was more thoroughly stocked and better appointed than any other home we’ve stayed at in Bend (which is saying a lot as we’ve stayed in close to a dozen homes in the area) and the neighborhood was perfect for walking to dinner and downtown as well as several nearby parks. We took advantage of the hot tub and the provided cruiser bikes and everything worked perfectly. The garage was handy for storing our son’s bikes as well, and the back patio was a great place to grill and have a glass of wine, read a book or have morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, evenings were quiet and we left wishing we could stay for another week. We can’t wait to come back!

The Bella Bird was a perfect size, location and layout for our needs (2 adults and 3 kids). The house was very relaxing. We were in town for a swim meet and we found ourselves just wanting to hangout and enjoy the property in our downtime. We look forward to renting again! Thank you for everything.

The Bella Bird Bungalow is in a perfect location. We walked a few blocks to the classic Bend breweries, enjoyed a food truck just down the street, and also relaxed in the quiet home-like neighborhood. You can't ask for more when you stay here. The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living room was set up that we could sit around and visit comfortably. We will definitely stay here again.

We decided on this place on a whim and what an awesome experience. We will definitely stay here again. Food and drink within 1-3 blocks. Quiet area, beds comfy and hot tub is icing on the cake. Three bikes to take a spin around town with easy access to trails and bike lanes. You won't regret staying here.

We loved our stay at Bella Bird Bungalow! It was very clean and cozy, and the location is hard to beat. We were within walking distance to Drake Park and many restaurants. The hot tub and fireplace were especially appreciated after a day of hiking. The check in/out process was easy. Our thanks to Chris for being such a friendly and responsive host. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed here with our daughter as she recovered from having her 1st child. This place was wonderful! It was bright and cheery, with comfortable beds. We loved all the antiques and beautiful cabinetry. The neighborhood was charming, with a food cart area around the corner, called , "The Lot" which features some local singers.
My daughter noted that the house and charming extras was like opening an I Spy book.

Bella Bird exceeded our expectations. The home was very warm and comfortable. Very cutely decorated with many details. Kitchen was more than adequately supplied with whatever we needed. The house was electronically updated for the all our tech needs as well as "Apple TV." The bathrooms were very nicely decorated and the showers superb. Lots of details provided to make our stay very enjoyable. We hated to leave! Thank you Bella Bird Property.

The owners obviously know what they are doing. Instructions for hot-tub, wifi, tv/entertainment all excellent. The place has clearly been remodeled (very well done) to accommodate the bathrooms and bedrooms. Very clean, very comfortable, warm when you walked in (attention to detail - keeping heat on for guests) close to everything (psst: Go to The Lot!).

This house was everything and then some. I definitely feel that the pictures online don't do it justice. It is very clean and cozy. The owners have thought of everything and don't spare any details. Highly recommend this for just a couple looking to get away or a family! Very kid friendly with all the amenities needed! We will definitely come back here again.

This home is perfectly located for downtown, getting around Bend or hopping on Hwy 97. The home has old world charm with all modern day conveniences. My 3 sisters and I loved sitting on the front porch talking with neighbors while observing the locals biking and walking by. This is a jewel to be revisited.

Making memories... Bend has been paradise. This home made it very special.. love the attention to detail, it's very much appreciated. I totally enjoyed being surprised by yet another cute "knick knack" looking back at me waiting to be found! This is true both inside and most especially outside all around these cute mini-grounds. We had a great stay at the Bella bird. We are 4 friends... In Bend to run the half marathon. We had a great time and the Bella bird was perfect for our stay. The kitchen/dining/living room was well equipped and cozy. The bedrooms were comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub! We also took the bikes into town which was handy. Loved the neighborhood. Walking distance to the food truck area was a plus. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you for being flexible and letting us stay a little later for late check out. Perfect stay!

Our stay here was wonderful! The kitchen is FULLY equipped- even had a coffee grinder, slow cooker and ice cream maker! The location was perfect. It was so easy to walk over to the restaurants, food carts and the dough nut shop nearby. The alleyway fit our 4Runner without a problem as well. The house was super cute, and the hot tub was the perfect place to relax in during the cold evenings. We also appreciate the communication from the owners- they let us know that they were around if there were any problems (which there were none 🙂 and also they called us right away that we left a cell phone behind, so we were able to turn back and pick it up before we were too far away. We recommend this rental and would definitely book this rental again for any future trips to Bend.

This house was PERFECT for our short stay in Bend! A great spot to meet and spend time with old college buddies. We enjoyed the fireplace, comfortable accommodations, and close proximity to downtown Bend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Bend! Thank you! It was a treat!

This Bungalow has it all. We had two couples who used it for a base camp for hiking in the area. It is totally upgraded with the latest furnishings and the decor keeps you smiling as you look around every corner. We could have not asked for a better equipped home for the week. Plus! it is just a block away from the best bagel shop in Oregon.

My friend and I had a great stay at the Bella Bird in Bend. The house was great - it was comfortable, clean, and charming (great front porch). The location was also excellent as there were several good restaurants and a brewery nearby with downtown Bend being a very short bike ride, or nice walk through/around Mirror Pond away.

Great property. Well kept and "complete" in every way.
We were 2 couples staying there and wanted a warm cozy place to just visit in the evenings. It was exactly what we wanted. We were impressed.

I decided to rent this house because it seemed cute and had enough beds that no one had to share. This was important because we need to sleep on vacation! I expected it to be nice based on the pictures online, but it exceeded our expectations. It is a darling home with every comfort you could ask for. it felt like someone who knows and loves us prepared this place for us. Clean, fluffy towels, charming and delightful décor, clean, homey bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub worked perfectly and was wonderful after a cold day in March. We also enjoyed the fireplace a lot. Bonus: This place is SO close to downtown. It's nestled on a charming neighborhood street, but we walked to food trucks, through the glorious Drake Park to the quaint downtown area in five to ten minutes. We will be back to this place as often as possible.

Stayed here with my wife and our 10 month old daughter. The house was well equipped and very comfortable (and our daughter loved the toy bin that was provided). Location was perfect. Easy walkable to Newport Market, Backporch Coffee Roasters, 10 Barrel, Sunriver Brewing, downtown...We'll be back.
