Diana’s home was perfect for our weekend stay. For being pet friendly, this house was incredibly clean! You would never know it was pet friendly. We came for a concert and were able to walk to and from the venue in about 20 mins! We actually walked everywhere all weekend. Never took our car once and we had two small children with us. Would definitely stay here again!

We come to Bend often from Portland. This was our favorite location by far! Walkable to just about anywhere. The house is exactly as described and very comfortable and plenty spacious for us with two kiddos and pups. We actually extended our trip a couple days as we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely two-night stay on a spontaneous weekend trip to Bend—we really appreciated the same-day booking availability and the super easy self check-in. We loved the fact that the cottage is in an unbeatable location that is walkable to anywhere you’d want to go. The space itself is very clean and comfortable, pet friendly, full of amenities (coffee, tea, nice toiletries, great kitchen, etc) and the host is extremely attentive. We would definitely return!

Great, great place. The recommendations book the host provided was awesome! A fenced in yard for our pup was perfect. Lots of personal touches. But, the location was the best! A few blocks away from coffee shops, a bakery, breweries, restaurants, and more.

We went to Mother's Juice and they had some thing for everyone (Vegetarian & Omnivores). We also enjoyed pastries & coffee from A Taste of Bend.
We walked All over Bend & found everything just beautiful & everyone friendly.

We were so grateful for our stay here! The location can’t be beat (we hardly used the car because so much was within walking distance). We had everything we needed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a homebase from which to explore Bend.

This house was a perfect fit for our family. It is located within walking distance to all the restaurants and riverfront park. The fenced in yard allowed my dog to run around while we were gone. We were able to safely store our bikes in the locked garage. We would definitely consider booking again next time we come to Bend.

Great location for a family trip with a toddler, near a playground and easy walking distance to food/breweries. There is a great outdoor food truck area that we went to a few times! Crib and highchair were convenient and the house was safe for a little one to run around in.

I wasn’t able to go due to terrible weather- but my partner and brother in law LOVED it. They said the location was awesome and the house was adorable.

Had a great stay. Location was very walkable, comfortable beds, more amenities than I've ever seen in an Airbnb. Host was quick to respond.

This place is such a gem! Amazing location! We had a wonderful time and were able to walk to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. They even had a crib set up for our baby when we arrived. We would definitely stay again.

Diana's place was great. The house was clean and spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked. The place was just a few blocks from some great places to eat and drink, and close enough to the slopes that it was very easy getting out early.

This is an incredibly cozy bungalow walking distance to lots of Bend's best eateries (including the food-truck court with firepits and live music just a few blocks down the way. You can also easily walk across the footbridge just a few blocks from the home and enter directly into Drake Park and Old Bend downtown.

Nice yard, comfy beds, great kitchen for making food and dinning in, off-street parking around back. Just a great little place for a couple or a family.

Diana’s place worked great for us! Three bedrooms with various sleeping options, a fully stocked kitchen, private yard and walkable to breweries, restaurants and town.

Place was affordable, host was responsive and we had everything we needed for a great mini-vacation!

Great location and with a space that was very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. Very dog friendly with a long yard for zooming about and nice parks nearby for walks. The location was also very good for accessing Bend and also walkable to many fun spots! There were other dogs nearby and some neighborhood deer. Closest streets are a bit dark so if you are planning to walk around at night having a light/reflective vest is helpful.

This house is located in central location for walking to Drake Park, food and shopping. The accommodations are perfect for sleeping, cooking and showering. The house is pet friendly and cost is economical overall. We will use this Airbnb host again!

Lovely home located in walking distance of the park and downtown. Kitchen was well stocked and house was clean. It was nicely set up for pets as well. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Bend.

Even before we arrived to Diana's home, we were incredibly impressed at how easy communication was with her. Her responses were nearly instantaneous.
My husband and I made our way to bend with 2 small children, one of which requires a pack n play for sleep, and we were stressing about how to navigate an airport with one. We reached out to Diana to see if by some chance she has one, and in an instant she got back to us saying she did! and it will be available upon arrival! not only that, but she also had a high chair for our son.
little things like this really added up to a tremendous stay in Bend.
The home itself is so big, laid out like a subway car so its super long and felt huge!
the internet connection was incredible so streaming TV shows for our daughter was a breeze, I was able to work from the back yard with no breakups in connectivity.
the home is fully stocked with everything you may need.
pots, pans, cozy mugs, microwave, coffee, bowls, you name it.
it also had the little things that you need but cant remember that you need them until you're doing the thing that requires them. for instance! cooking! you will need some oil, salt, pepper... this home has got it.
when travelling some place cold, my skin gets dry and Diana had a huge bottle of lotion!
these sound like simple things but they're not as common.
we were definitely appreciative of all the features this home had.
also! it is situated near anything that you may need.
we were able to walk everywhere, so we did.
to downtown for the film festival, the park for the kids, restaurants and the library. it was all just wonderful.
Bend absolutely left a pleasant impression and it was made possible by Diana. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great stay

My 2 kids and I were displaced because of a fire. We stayed at both the Federal house and the Basalt house during our search for a new rental. Stones Throw does a great job, and I’m thankful for the normalcy that was provided to us during a rather unfortunate time. I highly recommend Stones Throw and wouldn’t think twice to use them again in the future!

A very nice house in the perfect area of Bend. We did not need to use the car at all for the entire stay, walking or biking everywhere! The accomodations were great, offering everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood was quiet, and we especially liked the grill and ourdoor eating area and use of the garage to park our bikes.
Highly recommended.

Good location

We had a great stay! The location is perfect for being able to walk (to coffee shops, restaurants, markets, downtown, etc.). We appreciated how the house was set up for kids (high chair, pack and play, plastic plates, etc.) and that we were able to bring our dogs. We would definitely recommend for traveling families!

The location of the unit is fantastic - much to do within walking distance and easy access to Three Sisters and other area hiking/biking/climbing. We used the back patio often. The patio gets the morning sun but is nicely shaded in the afternoon and evening when the temperatures rise. It's great for a family with a dog. We had six adults and found it comfortable.

Absolutely LOVED it here! It is so cute and homey! Smelt so clean the second we walked in. We also appreciate the good coffee. You'd be surprised by how many Airbnb's have dollar store coffee.

We loved our stay at this AirBnB! The host Diana was so communicative and friendly leading up to the stay and while we were there! The location is AMAZING! You can walk to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Bend. We loved being able to bring our dogs with us and all the pet friendly touches. A lot of Airbnbs say they’re dog friendly, but aren’t really and this Airbnb was PERFECT for our pets. They provided sheets to cover the furniture, bowls for food and water, lint rollers, etc! And the extras for people were great too, plenty of pillows and blankets which I appreciate as someone who likes to sleep with a lot of pillows 🙂 thanks so much for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!!

The location of the house was perfect, within walking distance of lots of stuff and downtown. Local park for our grandchild to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again when in Bend!

Loved the location of this Airbnb! We walked to the park, the river, 10 Barrel and the food trucks. Mothers Café was really good for breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay here in your adorable little home! It was cozy, peaceful and very relaxing! Also the unit was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything and had a great time hiking the RimRock Trail down the river with the dogs. We also had a fabulous day skiing at Mt.Bachelor yesterday! Perfect spring conditions and gorgeous weather! What a great spring getaway!

We got a great price on this house last minute. The location is amazing, we walked to Bosa for dinner one night. It’s spacious enough for two people and dogs, with a nice fenced yard. Comfy furniture and beds. The whole house could use a renovation, particularly the very dated bathroom. Good communication throughout with the rental team.

Our stay was better than expected. Good location, as you can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. The property is clean, quiet, well-stocked and comfy beds. Communication with Diana was quick and easy.

Excellent location, walkable to everything. Check in and out process was super easy. Great getaway for a week of work from home with a nice change of scenery.

This house turned out to be a great option for our family (which includes elementary-aged kids and a dog.) I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and updated it was (despite being kid and dog friendly too!) Yet, it wasn't so fancy that I had to worry about my kids destroying the house. (It's a fine balance in a vacation rental.)

I loved the 365 Whole Foods products included with the house- including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dish soap, etc... The kitchen was also well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc...

We enjoyed walking to restaurants, food trucks, and a park by the river with a wonderful playground.

We would definitely choose to stay here again if we come back to Bend!

Fantastic location and nicely appointed. This is a pet friendly unit but even so, we were a bit disappointed at the amount of pet hair inside but otherwise it was clean, and a great space. And the location and price were great

House was great. It has a funky layout, but lots of beds for the size and is situated within walking distance to downtown, food trucks, breweries, etc. It worked well for what we needed.

This is a great cottage in a really nice location near downtown. Very clean and well-appointed. Nice yard for my dogs, too.

Great place with an excellent coffee shop two blocks away. Great walking and a goof garage to store gear outside of the house. Only one bath so was a juggle though. Dishes and set up is basic so if you cook, I recommend bringing the items you like. Coffee maker is ok.

This place was great! We would definitely stay again. It's in a great location - very walkable. It was very clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities in terms of fans, extra blankets, and plenty of room. It was nice to have a fenced backyard and it was very quiet at night, tucked into a quiet street away from big streets. Highly recommend.

Nice quiet neighborhood. We walked everywhere and it was amazing. The back alley parking was a huge bonus.
So close to the restaurants! We had a great meal everynight at 10 barrel.
Always good to go to High Desert Museum and Old St Francis School McMenamins.

A modest slice of heaven! Such a convenient location walking distance to breweries, stores, restaurants, downtown, parks, etc! Walk one direction and you hit something worth doing! Great having a fenced in backyard for the dog and a fully stocked kitchen for quiet nights in. Friendly neighborhood and plenty of amenities in the home.

Terrific spot for enjoying all Bend Oregon has to offer. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the location just two blocks away from the river and river tubing, and only a few blocks away from lots of shopping and eateries. Jackson's corner, restaurant/bakery is on the next block for a great quick meal. The house was very clean and included many details that made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend.

So many cool bars, restaurants and food tracks in walking distance - we barely made it out of this great neighborhood.
